Labor Day, September 7, 2009 my and my families lives changed forever. My wife , Linda, of 36 years suffered a brain aneurysm after taking a short walk. After being in hospitals and nursing homes for two years, I was, finally, able to bring her home.

Labor Day, September 7, 2009 my and my families lives changed forever. My wife , Linda, of 36 years suffered a brain aneurysm after taking a short walk. After being in hospitals and nursing homes for two years, I was, finally, able to bring her home.

We were blessed with five more years of being together. During that time we had countless discussions on everything imaginable. Linda's health began to decline and I faced my biggest fears of placing her into a hospice. Linda had her own plans and passed away quietly at home. She whispered her last words to her care giver, "I'm scared".

During our time together, I wrote a song based on our numerous discussions. The words were used on her prayer card.
